If a woman saves her virginity for marriage, she has something that is

truly sacred and precious to offer her prospective husband. If she adopts the idea of casual sex as being okay, there is nothing special that she has to offer her partner. She has given up all that she had to offer. In a crude sense, how is free sex any different to your man than that of an ordinary prostitute’s?

Except for the fact he doesn’t pay for it? Of course, no man is going to treat you like a prostitute in an outright open way, but why then does marriage become such a difficult subject to talk about to the lover you cohabitate with? Would you have sex and live together if you knew it might destroy

any possibility of marriage and a true long-term loving relationship as a husband and wife? Yet that is exactly what is happening in our society today in a world that cheapens sexuality and the institution of marriage. 43

Cohabitation and living together is a mortal sin in God’s eyes when

sex is a part of the picture. It is fornication. And even if sex is not an initial consideration, it can quickly become part of the picture when a male and female live together, because “maximum privacy will lead to maximum intimacy.” This is an incontrovertible fact of male-female relationships. A

male and female should not delude themselves that sex can be restrained or denied while living together for other “compatibility testing” reasons. Cohabitation is on the rise today. Yet, it is only a small part of the sexually immoral practices currently going on. The big picture looks like this.
