Once saved, your sins are washed white as snow and your heart is also

supposed to be cleansed of all of its wickedness. Do you remember that God stated our heart was inclined towards evil from its youth? Do you think that salvation is an actual reality if the heart is not transformed from its proclivity towards wickedness to that of being a slave unto righteousness? Yet if you

continue to practice sexual immorality, you only delude yourself. You testify that your heart is not cleansed unto righteousness through true belief. In the end you deceive yourself because you are not a doer of the Word. The gift of fear is a part of wisdom’s reason! And yet if you practice sexual

immorality, it also demonstrates that you have no fear of God.

“Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.” Job 28:28

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Tim. 1:7

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who

comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

Paul Teaches “Slave To Righteousness,” Not Perfection!

Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave [of sin] does not abide in the house forever, but a son [slave of

righteousness] abides forever.” John 8:34-35

“And because you are sons, God has sent forth the spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’

Therefore you are no longer a slave [to sin] but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” Galatians 4:6-7

“No slave can serve two masters … you cannot serve [both] God and [sin].” Luke 16:13 NRSV [Choose your master!]
