But you say, Edward, this is a privacy issue. Not with God it isn’t and

it seems like it isn’t with established U.S. laws concerning the distribution of pornography. The courts have ruled that pornography in the privacy of your home is protected, but not the distribution of pornography. In an article titled “It’s Not a Privacy Issue,” 19 established U.S. laws are discussed. The

author writes, “Forty percent of all hotels and motels in the U.S., fall within legal guidelines,” to be prosecuted for the distribution of pornography. He sites the Cincinnati Marriott Northeast, as well as 23 of the top 25 largest hotels in the greater Cincinnati area as being distributors of pornography. Is

it any wonder when you travel nowadays that you are constantly affronted with pornography in places that used to be a family place for rest and sleep? Woe to everyone who seeks to use the law to cloak evil. God will repay.

A group called “Citizens for Community Values” (CCV) 20 is active in

the greater Cincinnati area and they have surveyed 174 Tristate hotels. They found 98 of 174 or 56% who did not offer adult pay-per-view movies. The group plans to survey hotels in every other major city. Currently they are providing a list to prosecutors of hotels that offer adult movies, because they

believe it violates existing laws on the distribution of porn. They are also sponsoring a new web site 21 to list “clean” hotels that do not offer porn. The power of the Internet to do good, should also be acknowledged. I personally use the Internet for many tasks. Without question, if I could

locate a hotel that did not offer porn when I traveled, I would do so. Such a site would allow me to spot precursors to sexual immorality. But without such a resource, it is difficult to make porn free hotel travel plans.

Now I want you to fully get the gist of what I am teaching you. You need to eliminate the precursors to sexual immorality in your life. If you have a stack of pornographic movies, burn them. Don’t give them away and enable or cause another to sin. Destroy them. Get them out of your life and

other lives. Do the same thing with everything that falls into the category of being lewd, lascivious or licentious. These things are stepping-stones into the realm of sexual immorality. Got a phone book of Gay bars? Get rid of it. Got a phone list of Gay or lesbian partners? Get rid of it and change your

phone number; make it unlisted. Find some new acquaintances that will help keep you straight. Stop seeing people who want you to participate in
