Married Sex Is God’s Safe Sex Solution!

Listen. Wives do not give up your sexy nightclothes, as it is okay to be sexually enticing to your own husbands. Remember, the marriage bed is sanctified in God’s eyes and married moral sex is a blessing from God.

I suspect that many Bible verses have led to a sexual crisis in some Christian minds that fear that they do not know where to draw the line. To practice safe sex in God’s eyes, restrain sex to the marriage bed and limit it to one man and one woman in the spiritual state of being one flesh. Any sex

out of these simple boundaries can get you into trouble with God. Yet there is more to the idea of married sex, there is married “moral” sex.

“Marriage is honorable among all, and the [marriage] bed

[is] undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.” Hebrews 13:4

“Let marriage be held in honor by all, and let the marriage

bed be kept undefiled; for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.” Hebrews 13:4 NRSV

“Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed

kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.” Hebrews 13:4 NIV

Would you drag an animal in the marriage bed and practice bestiality

because you think that the marriage bed is somehow sanctified? No. Sexual immorality can occur in the marriage bed as well. What God is telling us is sexuality in the context of marriage between a man and woman is sanctified in His eyes and that their marriage bed [wherever they sleep together] is

undefiled unless they engage in lewd and sexually immoral conduct.

From a mental standpoint, a husband and wife should not worry about how many times per day they are having sex. However often they have sex is still sanctified in God’s eyes unless it is immoral sex. A married couple
