Common sense and modesty would resolve a lot of the concerns about

breastfeeding. Yet the objections to public breastfeeding are paradoxical given the degree to which we are inundated with sex these days. Perhaps there is a “public” backlash, because people are trying to find some place of sexual safety where their senses are not assaulted. That would explain the

hoopla over a two-year old girl in a public pool without a shirt. Several people were sexually offended that the mother took her shirt off. Hello. Sexual immorality has consequences in areas of public behavior. Even to the point of being immodest on one hand, because of perceived rights and of

being ridiculous on the other hand because there is getting so much offense.

The issue of birth control relates to sexual immorality. Birth control is immoral except when used within a marriage or for some medical reason. After Brian was born, Jackie had a tubal ligation, which was a permanent

method of birth control. There is nothing wrong with birth control in the institution of marriage. However, all forms of birth control outside of the marriage are precursors to sexual immorality. If, for example, there were not the “pill” or other means of birth control, people would be more careful

about their sexual habits. At least they were before the “pill” came along and I am old enough to remember. Readily available methods of birth control have contributed significantly to the epidemic of sexual immorality in our world and the ultimate birth control women use is the act of abortion.

The use of abortion in any instance except to save the life of the mother is immoral and evil. If it is used as a birth control method, it is also wicked in God’s eyes. Sexual immorality has traumatic life consequences.
