what they think is fun, but what God declares is sexually immoral. Choose to eternalize your life in the here and now. You’ll enjoy the earthly ride a lot

more knowing you have a heavenly destination.

My friend Dean has hammered home a central theme on Hollywood actors that he has declared evil people. His strategy is not to support them in

any manner. Once an actor gets on Dean’s list, he will never again spend a dime on anything they do. He won’t watch their new movies in a theater and he won’t rent any video in which they take part. He won’t even listen to anything they have to say. In short, he won’t have anything to do with them.

I told him he might quickly run out of movies to watch since most of what Hollywood offers seems to have something of a tinge of evil to it these days. Brother Dean is also a movie aficionado like me, but a very selective one. Still, I really get Dean’s message! Do you? Isn’t it the same message of Jesus Christ in Matthew 18:6-7? Woe to you who cause another to sin? If

you pull your support, you reprove such evil. Even if they don’t know what you’ve done, God knows. If you don’t reprove, you bear their sin-guilt!

Dean’s strategy can be deployed to all aspects of evil in our society.

Why should you stay at a hotel that profits from porn? Why should you invest in the stock of corporations that profit from porn? Why should you support movie stars that act in porn? Why should you support authors who write porn novels? Why should you support any evil? Why support …

As a final note on hotel porn, it is interesting to observe that when

checkout time occurs, you won’t find any “porn” itemized on the hotel bill. The purveyors of porn will do everything they can to eliminate any external knowledge of pornography use and protect your secrecy. That is so you’ll come back knowing that they will “cloak” your porn use and seemingly

protect your privacy. One does wonder, however, what their “internal” porn database on viewing habits would disclose. There is no doubt that they keep one from my business perspective. Wouldn’t it be interesting if the internal computer records of hotel porn use ever got into the public domain?
