Chapter 19: Myth—Sexuality Doesn’t Matter

Do a good deed and you’ll feel good. Do a bad deed and you’ll feel

bad. Our emotions will always follow our actions. Our actions will always follow thoughts. Feeling bad? Then take some action that is good and you’ll feel good again. You can literally change your emotions and present feelings in life simply by changing your thoughts. Changed thoughts result

in changed actions, which result in changed emotions. God has built inside of us a unique human feedback process, which convicts us of evil and sin whether or not we “actively” walk with God. That is what the soft inner voice of conscience is all about. It is God tugging on every heart to change

our lifestyle while we still can. A normal thought-action process is simple.

A. Normal Thought-Action Process

Thoughts, leads to Actions, which lead to Feelings

B. Sexually Immoral Action-Thought Process

Feelings, leads to Actions, which lead to Thoughts

C. Spiritually Enhanced Thought-Action Process

Spirit influenced Thoughts, leads to Actions, which lead to Feelings

God’s feedback also emerges in the feelings that we encounter after any action we take. Do we feel good about what we have done? Or, do we feel bad? God meant for a Spirit-led active thought process to guide our

actions and prevent sin. Sexually immoral people have bought a debauched feel-good philosophy, which turns off God’s soft inner voice of conscience that could spare them much misery in this earthly life. However, they can’t turn off His feedback by way of our emotions. God will make sure we get

His input one way or another even if it’s an after action emotion that makes us feel bad. Those who embrace God and walk with Him as I have done will find that His Spirit will actively influence their thoughts. They’ll also adjust to God’s life plan instead of their own life plan, as I certainly have done.
