Chapter 19: Myth—Sexuality Doesn’t Matter
Page 73
To think otherwise poses an interesting dilemma in itself. Are lovers
not supposed to touch one another? Are they not supposed to feel the erotic pleasures of their skin touching and rubbing against each other? To caress and love one another with all that their body offers in terms of God’s gift of human sexuality? Is a man allowed to touch, caress, kiss, lick and suck on
his wife’s breast, but not also allowed to do so with her entire naked body? Anyone who has ever made passionate love to his or her lover would laugh at such an outrageous proposition, because it only demonstrates a thorough lack of understanding human sexuality. It also demonstrates a lack of God’s gift of sex and someone who has never experienced the gift’s pleasures.
To be enraptured [filled with delight] by your wife’s love is a biblical instruction. Also, we are to let the breasts of the wife of our youth satisfy us at all times. Yes, female breasts sag with age and as children are born, the
female body gets changed from its youthful form. God says to let the breasts of the love of our youth sustain us throughout our life.
“Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of
your youth. As a loving deer and a graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times; and always be enraptured with her love.” Proverbs 5:18-19
Let me translate this for you. Jackie and I were 17 and 18 when we got married. She was 56 when she died. In the 39 years we were married, I was always enraptured by her love. And her breasts always satisfied me. This is an instruction to be faithful to one another even into old age and
despite the shifting form of the body. It is also an instruction to be sexually passionate regardless of how long you have been married. You are never too old for sex; Abraham and Sarah proved that point.
Sexual intercourse is another form of masturbation. Does not the penis stroke the vagina-clitoris and vice versa? How are all these forms of masturbation different to God when the end result of ejaculation or climax in the marriage bed is the same? God says sex is good when it is in a marriage.
That is why the marriage bed is sanctified and fornication or sex outside of marriage is condemned and termed sexually immoral.
