If you want to really meet a scary person, find someone without any

sense of conscience, about good and evil. I met a young woman once who was exactly like this. She was an acquaintance of my son many years ago who I had met briefly while picking up my son. She had crashed her car and called my insurance agent pretending to be my daughter. She placed her car

on my family auto insurance policy and then filed an accident claim.

I never would have known had I not seen the monthly insurance bill requiring a payment for a car I did not own. When I eventually confronted

her about what she had done, I was dismayed to learn she had virtually no conscience about good or evil. Ultimately isn’t that what the conscience attempts to impart, a sense of right and wrong, good and evil? Both Jackie and I concluded that she was the scariest person we had ever met, because there was no sense or mental consideration about what is good and evil in

her mind, only considerations of what she wanted to do or what she felt might feel good. It didn’t matter that she committed a crime against me or any other another person. She had no remorse or emotional feedback.

I believe this woman suffered from fetal alcohol syndrome but I am not sure. In any case, there are human beings walking the street totally devoid of any sense of right and wrong or good and evil. I’m sure they are mentally ill people for the most part. God in His infinite mercy will take our

mental and physical problems into consideration during our judgment. That is what His mercy and grace are for; He does not condemn the mentally ill. Yet, where is the excuse for those who do know better? There isn’t any.

Part of the problem in conveying a sense of what is sexually immoral from a biblical perspective is the inconsistency of word use in the various translations and the use of some rather archaic terms. For simplicity, I have reduced sexual immorality down to three basic levels. In a very real sense,

once you enter Level-I of sexual immorality, which is lewdness, sexual sins can continue taking you deeper and to a point of no return with God unless you can quickly put a spiritual reality check into play. Level-I is the point where a real sense of the fear of God should set in. Being “preoccupied and

obsessing” over sexual things isn’t just thinking sexual “mind” thoughts; it is getting into trouble from sexual “heart” thoughts.
