God has just reminded me of a key aspect to this discussion that is

often ignored for sake of convenience. Assume for a moment that you could actually order only the moral channels that you wanted for your own home, but to do so, you would have to obtain those “moral” channels from a purveyor of “immoral” channels. I.E. You select 50 moral channels out of

the purveyor’s 130 total channels of which remain several quasi-moral if not outright immoral channels. Now what? Are you falling into the category of causing or enabling others to sin simply by engaging in commerce with what is presumably only a moral offering to your house? The answer is yes, you

are. If you support a business that offers part of his services in support of immorality, you are supporting that immorality. The solution is to only do business with those who do not engage in providing any immoral or evil services. I admit, in 2004, that this could be a challenge. Yet, it is possible to take a stand for morality even if it means having to alter your plans.

It’s now October 7th and for the last few days God has given me more insight on the minimum righteousness requirement that Jesus spoke about. Do you remember my teaching on this subject in chapter 6? If not, you can

review the discussion starting on page 104. For now, God wants me to refresh your memory in the current context of sexuality. He does not expect perfection out of your life, but there is a minimum righteousness standard.

Jesus said, “For assuredly, I say to you, till Heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men

so, shall be called least in the kingdom of Heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and

Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 5:18-20

I want you to observe that in these verses Jesus states that those who

break the commandments and teach others to do so will be called the least in Heaven. Jesus is talking about the Law, which he says is still active.
