Then there is the recent story of Jimmy Swaggart apologizing for a

remark he made about Gays 7. Remember Swaggart? According to the article: “Swaggart was a popular television evangelist during the 1980’s until a 1987 sex scandal involving a prostitute that he met in a seedy New Orleans motel. Swaggart never confessed to anything more than an

unspecified sin. A few years later, he was stopped by police while driving in California with a suspected prostitute in his car.” Think about all the precursors that were ignored by Swaggart along his own immoral pathway. Before he wound up with a prostitute engaging in licentious and lascivious

behavior, he had engaged in lewdness in his heart. Did he ignore spiritual caution flags or is he abhorred by the Lord as taught in Proverbs 22:14?

All three illustrations demonstrate a lack of moral clarity and sexual self-control. Moral clarity in the United States has been under attack all of

my life. Satan seeks to confuse mankind about what is sexually okay in God’s eyes. Yet, His Word has not changed and He will still hold us accountable for all sexual immorality. How is it that the people can be duped into electing an immoral president who calls himself a Christian?

How is it that teenagers are easily confused about their God given sexuality? And how is it that immorality in the house of God can stand as if it didn’t matter? You can trace this immorality to the Christian orthodox teaching of the trinity doctrine. Intellectually, it is a logical conclusion of the mind that

licentiousness is a valid lifestyle if our sins no longer matter. Ergo, if Jesus forgave all of my sins, even my future acts of sexual immorality no longer matter. If you believe this apostate spiritual reasoning, you are destined to hear Jesus say, “I never knew you.” Go back and study chapters 1-14 for the

truth about sin. Sin does matter to God, especially once you proclaim Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. Sexually immoral sins lead only to the lake of fire and a second death. I didn’t make the rule, God did!

God gave us a strong mind. It enables us to understand His Word in all of its intellectual, spiritual and emotional respects. However, without the wisdom’s gatekeeper, we can fall prey to the false security of a forgiveness theology that is replete with apostasy and wickedness. Indeed, the continued

willful sin in the name of Jesus Christ is wicked and the ultimate blasphemy before a holy God who sacrificed His only begotten human Son Jesus!
