I remember when I first laid eyes on this woman at our Bible study.

As I went to open the door, the first thought that ran through my mind was: “God what are you getting me into?” Her physical attributes were different than the diminutive wife I had known for four decades. To say I was a little apprehensive about her is an understatement. Yet as we spent time in the

Bible study, God’s Spirit systematically melted my heart in a way that astonished me. God gave this woman favor with me in a way that I had never before experienced. I literally felt my resistance wane as I listened to her talk and observed her beauty. Where on first sight I was thinking, “I’ll

have to pass on that proposed meeting Lord” — I soon found myself asking her out to dinner to have the talk that God wanted me to have with her. She declined the dinner offer, but agreed to get together at a coffee shop with me in a few days after I told her God wanted me to talk to her about something. When she asked what, I said it would have to wait. What had happened?

The truth that Jesus is not God and that you cannot simply “mouth” Jesus as Lord and expect to get to Heaven without a minimum amount of righteousness are teachings opposite of trinitarian orthodoxy. God has

challenged Christianity’s apostate teachings, reminding Christians that their beliefs hold little validity in His Word today and that their “Jesus” salvation doctrine was like a sieve that would lead many to Hell instead of Heaven. Well, the fact God has me opposing orthodoxy has not passed over my head

by any means. I speculated that maybe one woman in 10,000 or more might actually comprehend His Word enough to understand what I am teaching. The first thing that happened was I found out that this woman did understand these things. I asked her father if he’d been teaching her the stuff we’ve

been studying. He said no, but that she had learned the truth herself. If that didn’t astonish me enough, I found that she could quote the Bible back to me almost as well as I could quote it to her. Then was the fact she had read the King James Bible from front to back and was quoting from that version.

Even I could never get past Genesis in the King’s English of 1611. Yes, she was impressive. After the Bible study I found myself pondering the odds. What are the odds she had actually read the King James Bible from front to back? What are the odds she had studied it enough to be fluid in Scripture

understanding and able to quote it with ease? What are the odds she would come to the same biblical truths as God had led me to? Wow!
