Chapter 19: Myth—Sexuality Doesn’t Matter

Masturbation before sex can often relieve the pent up sexual pressure
in the male. Regular active married sex would also alleviate the male’s body pressure. Does the female experience similar sexual pressures? I can’t say for sure, but I would have to believe she does. Therefore, one can conclude intellectually that couples engage in masturbation of each other during
foreplay, masturbation is useful in alleviating premature ejaculation and it is harmful when it interferes with the couple’s sexual relationship. In The Gift of Sex, a complete discussion of the subject is available. 32
Give your children some perspective on masturbation and its broader role in married sex. If you do not teach your children these things, they will learn them on the Internet at sites that teach both male masturbation 33 and female masturbation 34. If you don’t talk about oral sex, your children will learn the full details on the Internet at Sue Johanson’s web site 31.
You can contrast the male sperm factory with the female’s stockpile of eggs, which are emitted one at a time each month throughout her life until menopause at which time there are no more eggs. Note that the egg stock
not only depletes, but can also become of questionable quality after age thirty-five. As the female egg stock dries up and peri-menopause sets in, the woman’s vagina may stop producing the level of lubricant that it used to, which can complicate sexual intercourse. With some K-Y Jelly or other
lubricant, however, sexual enjoyment can continue on indefinitely for the female’s clitoris does not stop producing sexual enjoyment for her. These aspects of God’s male and female body design pose an interesting question: If we are only to have sex for purposes of procreation, why is it we can still
physically enjoy sex long after the possibility of procreation has gone away?
If just begetting children was the only reason for moral sex, it yields several idiotic results. If sex is only to beget children, then sex after the wife
is pregnant is a sin. How logical is that? Some of the greatest sex a married couple can have is during pregnancy albeit within reasonable physical limits. The issue of rear-entry vaginal sex came up when Jackie asked her nurse how we could enjoy sex in the later months of one of our pregnancies. As it
seems, God has made a provision for moral sex that allows the penis to enter the vagina from the posterior or buttocks area of the body.
