Most cable and satellite operators package and sell their filth with the

good stuff. In fact, one usually cannot subscribe to just the Disney channel or some other wholesome channel without getting one or more objectionable channels. The solution is to unsubscribe to your cable or satellite and tell them when you can just subscribe to the moral channels you want, you’ll

reconsider. Does it make sense to subscribe to a few good channels when your family gets subjected to sexual immorality on many other channels? While you may be able to program around some channels, let me ask you this question. Why should you have to even allow sexually immoral content

into the privacy of your home? Such programming brought into your home is a sexually immoral precursor. Verily I say unto you that it will present a moral conflict to those in your home. It will cause some people to sin!

God has some clear ways to identify sinners and exclude them from

an eternal life. One of those is stated in James 4:17, which is a catchall definition of sin. “If you know what is right to do, but you do not do it, then to you it is sin.” God will hold you responsible for what you know and do, not what others know and do. I taught on Leviticus 19:17 in the last chapter,

which is God’s command that you “reprove” your neighbor’s sin [those in your gates, family or close to you] or else you will bear their guilt. So we are obligated to God to do what is right and not to give sin an easy “pass” or allow sin to go unchallenged in our family, neighborhood, or society. A

third warning from God is that we are not to be a cause or an enabler of sin.

Jesus said, “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me [or the Father] to sin, it would be better for

him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world [society] because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!” Matthew 18:6-7

Woe to any person by whom the offense comes! Allowing sexually immoral content into your home will cause or enable sin. If you subscribe to “adult” channels, you are inviting sexually immoral content into your home.

The word “adult” is a euphemism for an immoral pornographic sex show. The solution is to unsubscribe & unplug the “sexually immoral” precursor!
