Myth—God Owns Solid Rock

Making A Judgment Is Not Passing Judgment!

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” Luke 6:37 NIV

“Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment.” John 7:24 NIV

“For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for

those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you.” Romans 13:3 NIV

Indeed the authorities are no threat to those who do wrong. Paul makes that clear in Romans 13. He also makes it clear you are to do what is right. If you hide crime, you are an accomplice to crime. Paul also makes it clear that we are to judge those within the church and kick out those who do

evil. We are not to worry about those outside the church, remember?

“What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside [the church]?

God will judge those outside. Expel the wicked man from among you [inside the church].” 1 Cor. 5:12-13 NIV

The instructions from God remain the same in the Old Testament and

the New Testament. God’s people are not to tolerate evil in their midst. We are to purge these evildoers and kick them out of the church. The world itself will still be a pit of evildoers. Yet, if the church is not any different to those evildoers, how will they be saved? One man wrote to me a while back

and told me to hide all the information on Matthews’ church theft because it made Christianity look bad. Christianity already looks bad and hypocritical for the very reason that it does hide evil in the church and puts on a false front. It gets people into church, but mentally sound people will leave the house of hypocrisy. They know God doesn’t sanction or hide evil.
