Myth—God Owns Solid Rock
Itching Christian Ears!
If the above graphic, three separate zones are now developed. Zone 1 is the fire insurance zone and is basically the same zone shown as Zone 1 in the prior graphic. Not every church located in Zone 1 will be a non-Bible adhering church by virtual of denomination. Also, remember the sea change
that occurred in all mainline churches since 1950. Having said that, the lack of adherence to all of the word of God is a salient feature of churches located in this zone. Not submitting to God’s Word is the big giveaway in this zone that you are really not in a house of God.
Once someone has caught the Spirit of God into the bowels of their soul where their heart resides they will become hungry and thirsty for all of His Word. They will find it illogical to profess a belief in the Holy Bible
without then believing what it actually says. Likewise, they will find it very illogical to profess belief in the salvation of Christ without doing exactly what Christ told us to do “if we called him Lord.” Having caught the wind of the Spirit, such a person will pour himself or herself into the Word, which
is our sole basis of faith and salvation. I know. That is exactly what I did.
The Zone 1 conflict occurs when the pulpit teachings contradict in an obvious way what the Bible presents as truth. At that time you leave what
can only be termed an apostate church. You then enter Zone 2, which I have termed “Let’s draw near [to God].” You enter into a Bible based church that has a righteousness focus built into its teachings. This may still be a trinity believing church, yet it is not confused about the need for righteousness. As
you get thirstier for the Word, you seek out other Bible churches and find some that offer a stronger worship experience. As in the first graphic, you have the general impression that you are evolving your way closer to God as you leave behind any church that is “not fully with it.” Unbeknownst to you
is that as you move upward in this perception of getting closer to God, you are being increasingly drawn into more of an emotional experience within the church. Your mind’s input is being supplanted by an emotional input. Where your mainline church service kept you for one hour total, your new WOF church thinks nothing of a 4-6 hour emotional worship experience.
