Myth—God Owns Solid Rock
Do you remember the two prophecies I opened this book with? Think
about them once again now that you have a more full perspective of the many different types of churches. Is the clarity of God’s Word in these two prophecies coming through to your mind? I certainly hope so. Remember, I have taught you that both of these prophecies are now fulfilled. Exactly
what type of church are you going to? Which zone represents it?
“For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what
their itching ears want to hear.” 2 Timothy 4:3 NIV
“The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit
miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe
the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 NIV
I never cease to be amazed at how God has shifted every single page of this book into what He wants to talk about. This chapter is no exception. I originally thought it would be more focused on the theft of Solid Rock Church, but God is choosing instead to have me instruct you on what you
need to look out for in these various churches. First is the obvious lack of adhering to God’s Word. It doesn’t take much brainpower to just leave such a church. Can we really have it both ways mentally? That is to say, where is the common sense in attending a church that bases its salvation on a book
that it really doesn’t entirely believe in? Except for a few select passages?
A short while ago God refocused my mind on the word “counterfeit” in the second prophecy above. There is a clear distinction to be made. Zone
1 churches that do not adhere to the Bible are not really counterfeiting in the sense of Paul’s teaching, are they? These are dry churches. Miracles?
