Myth—God Owns Solid Rock

I went out to lunch and when I reviewed these six items again, God

told me that they were not just physical items. They are also spiritual items. Many people are hungry and thirsty for the word of God. Does your church feed the people God’s Word and allow them to drink of God’s Spirit?

Many people are in a spiritual prison of Satan’s design. This could be a church that creates a social net supporting one another’s sinful lifestyles or inside evil secrets such as adulterous relationships or theft, which makes the church difficult to leave. Think of a congregation of lesbians and gays who

support one another and assure each other that everything is okay with God despite what the Bible actually says? Is such a church easy to leave? No, it is not easy to leave such a church without a change of heart towards God and the turning away [repenting] from the sinful lifestyle. Don’t tell me that such churches don’t exist. I know for a fact that they do exist. I also know

that they are an abomination unto God Almighty. Such churches are filled with spiritually naked people who think it is safe to ignore God’s Word.

They are spiritual strangers to God in need of true spiritual hospitality.

Yes, we like to think of the above list in only the physical sense, but God says it is also a list of spiritual needs. God expects us to give spiritual food, water, clothes and hospitality. Especially to those who are spiritually sick or in a spiritual prison and for whom souls are spiritually naked. Therefore, we

have an obligation to God to take care of body and spirit needs. Spiritually naked people need to be clothed in all the truth of God’s Word to get saved.

When William Neal Matthews came to the Elk River Assembly of

God Church in Elk River, it had food, clothing and other ministries that reached out to those in need within our community. Over the course of four years, Matthews systematically shut down all ministries serving the needs of people. In their stead, he placed advertisements seeking to draw people into

his satanic lair and collect money for his international travels. The church moved from a focus on local outreach ministries in compliance with God’s Word, to a ministry focused on Matthews’ family and their itinerant travel plans outside of the local community. O Lord God, I bear witness that this

church at one time served You. However, Satan’s servant turned it into a satanic lair by deceiving Your people with the appearance of righteousness.
