Myth—God Owns Solid Rock

It is easy to spot a WOF church because everything on the ministry

side is usually first class from a worldly perspective. Look at the monthly ministry magazine and you may find a four-color booklet that would put major for profit corporations to envy over its professionalism. The message is clear: “Anything the world can do, we can do better in our church.” You

can even find coffee shops, bookstores and other merchants within these kinds of churches.

“Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the

moneychangers and the benches of those selling doves. It is written, he said to them, ‘[God’s] house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a den of robbers [crooked merchants].” Matthew 21:12-13 NIV

Verily I say unto you that God’s house is supposed to be a house of prayer and spiritual sanctuary. The peddling of doves and other sacrifices for use in the house of God is certainly of the past. Today, it is cappuccino,

books, instructional tapes, music tapes, compact discs and other merchandise of the “modern day peddlers.” Who peddles the merchandise? It is the great number of speakers called to feed the itching ears of the congregation things they want to hear. These speakers reinforce local teachings and sell onsite a

variety of stuff for use in the house of God. Listen, have you read the Bible yet? I doubt it. Why not stop buying all the merchandise of these peddlers until you at least know what God’s Word actually has to say?

The most glaring aspect of a WOF church is not the obvious speaking against God’s Word as this church knows you have evolved out of Zone 2 and are on the alert for obvious apostasy. No, the big sign of Satan’s Zone 3 church is its focus on the things of men and of this world. You can observe

this focus in health and wealth messages, the coffee shops, the bookstores, the audio and CD sales booths, etc. You can even observe it in the private planes, personal pilots and Cadillac cars that are owned by these “anointed” ministers of God. Yes, I know, they say they are just blessed, but where do

you think these blessings came from? Do you think they originated from Jesus Christ who told his followers to travel light without a moneybag?
