Myth—God Owns Solid Rock

“Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come

into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.” John 3:20 NIV

Clearly Christ’s original apostles were not reluctant to tell the people

the names of those who did evil. Jesus Christ taught us that we would know them by their fruit. He was teaching us to make a clear distinction between recognizing evil or “making a judgment” and “passing judgment.” When you make a judgment, you are exercising spiritual discernment about what is

happening around you. When you are passing judgment, you are acting as executioner and God has said that vengeance belongs to Him.
