Myth—God Owns Solid Rock
Verily I say to you that if you dishonor your parents in the process of
taking sides with any pastor, you are lawless in the eyes of God Almighty. A good approach would be to work out the spiritual conflict from within the family using the Holy Bible as the final arbitrator. Keep the “anointed” pastor out of the discussion group when his or her ministry is the spiritual
issue being discussed. You get lawful when you stick to the word of God and let it determine the outcome. You get lawless when you ignore the word of God. One of His key commandments is to honor your mother and father. His Word doesn’t teach you to dishonor parents and honor the pastor. That
is truly the stuff of Christian mythology as taught in WOF churches.
