Myth—God Owns Solid Rock

You read that “God hates divorce” and your pastor teaches divorce is

“okay.” You read that “men sleeping with other men sexually are worthy of death” and your pastor teaches, “It is no big deal.” You read that “keeping the Ten Commandments leads to eternal life” and your pastor teaches you “don’t have to keep the Ten Commandments.” You read “to test God with

your tithe and see if He won’t open the windows of Heaven for you” and suddenly your pastor ignores those verses and begins to teach that you “can’t expect anything from God by simply tithing. Instead, you must now begin to give gifts and offerings beyond the tithe to get anything from God.”

Not a single one of the examples above are a debate similar to which color of blue the sky is. No, instead, one position is like saying the sky is blue and the other position is like saying the sky is red. Yet, year after year, Christians put up with false teachings when they have firsthand knowledge

from their own Bible studies that the teaching is wrong. Why? Is it because they are just in the crowd that Jesus will reject? Even if you don’t think you are acting in a lawless manner, you are when you support lawlessness in any form. God will hold you lawless in His eyes when you knowingly accept

and or ignore the lawlessness of others. In God’s eyes it is the same thing. Jesus will execute judgment on every Christian that is lawless; there will be no excuses. That is the teaching of Jesus Christ, not mine!

Another way to know if you are in a house of Satan is by the outreach ministries of the church. Your first hand Bible knowledge might have taught you the following ways of directly serving the Lord. According to Matthew 25:35-46, these six activities are tantamount to giving directly to God and

His Son. What are the ministries of your church? What are your ministries? You give directly to God and His Son when …

1. You feed the hungry.

2. You give drink to the thirsty. 3. You take in [and are hospitable to] strangers. 4. You clothe [those in need and] the naked. 5. You visit [and take care of] the sick.

6. You visit [and pray for] those in prison.
