Myth—God Owns Solid Rock

You eventually evolve to Zone 3, which is labeled Satan’s Catch 22 zone. Did I not warn you that Satan knows you will want to get closer to

God and that you might find him waiting for you? In Zone 3 your emotions are brought into play in a way that makes you feel special and part of God’s last day remnants. “It’s the true church, unlike those apostate ones.” This is the path that I traveled and watched others travel. I left a church that was

obviously an apostate church because it was open about its unwillingness to obey the word of God. I traveled through strong Bible based churches that adhered to the Word. Eventually I wound up in a church where God’s Word was carefully manipulated so that the obvious apostasy found in the Zone 1

church would not be so apparent. Instead of moving closer to God, I found myself in yet another den of Satan. This time, emotion would be used as the method of controlling people and the Word would be carefully twisted so as not to seem so obvious. The pulpit teachings shifted to health and wealth and the other things of men. What Jesus indicated when he spoke to Peter

and rebuked Satan I saw manifested in WOF churches. This group would also feed the “itching ears” of their congregations exactly what they wanted.

True Worship Involves Our Emotions!

We are taught by Jesus Christ to worship God “in spirit and truth.” The truth aspect involves the entire Bible. The spirit aspect must engage our emotions, because it must originate from the bowels of our soul—our heart.

Therefore, I do not say you shouldn’t get involved with your emotions during worship. It is the opposite. You will never experience the depth of worship possible unless you do engage your emotions and the fullness of your heart. Yet, verily I say unto you that your emotions cannot supplant the

truth of God’s Word. Your emotions must be tied to the truth. Only then can you experience what Christ refers to as “true worship” of the Father.

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true

worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24 NIV
