Myth—God Owns Solid Rock

In the final analysis, I ended up exactly where Satan had hoped I

would remain. I was grounded in biblical truth while in Zone 2 churches. I believed that Zone 3 churches provided a deeper worship experience without compromising the Word. I didn’t realize Bible teachings were corrupted in very subtle ways and that evil was actively taking place behind the scenes.

Satan thought he found a permanent home for me in a Zone 3 WOF church that was designed to feed “itching Christian ears.” However, he did not realize that my heart was loyal to God. He also did not realize it is truth

that motivates me. When it comes to your soul, there is nothing of value on this earth. Now ask yourself this question. Exactly where is the loyalty of your own heart? Are you a member of a church that belongs to Satan and is designed to feed your itching ears with whatever your own social group will find acceptable? Or are you truly in a house of God that feeds you His Holy

Word? Are you easily led astray by Bible ignorance like a ringed-nose cow? Or, is your mind continually fed and sharpened by the two-edged sword of God’s Word? No one leads a mind focused on the Word astray from God.

Jesus Said: “Feed my sheep!”

“The third time [Jesus] said to him, ‘Simon son of John, do

you love me?’ Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, ‘Do you love me?’ He said, ‘Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.’ Jesus said, ‘Feed my sheep.’ ” John 21:17 NIV

What do you think Jesus wanted Peter to feed us? Is it not the bread of eternal life contained in God’s Holy Word Jesus wants us to consume? Jesus gave us the answer to this critical church question in Matthew.

Jesus said: “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” Matthew 4:4 NIV
