Myth—God Owns Solid Rock

Keep reading Paul at 1 Corinthians 6:6 and you will get the picture

that brothers in the Lord would willy-nilly go to law over anything with each other. The theft of Solid Rock Church falls into a very different category. It is an evil crime. To show a brother your godly love and allow some minor cheating or wrongs to be forgiven is the right thing to do—as long as they

have gotten the message that you are aware of those wrongs or cheating. However, let me ask you this question. Do you think this section of Paul’s writings also applies to the swindler, which Paul taught at 1 Cor. 5:11? We are not even “to eat with such a person!” Believers can make molehills into

mountains inside the church. However, sheer evil is also ignored despite the fact that God has told us to purge evil from among us and Paul also teaches us to “expose the evil.” When it comes to dealing with satanic forces in the church and where you have first hand knowledge of evil, a lawsuit may be the most appropriate course of action or at least contact civil authorities.

Get the picture? There are many things you can do when confronting evil. God will expect you to do something when you yourself have the first hand knowledge of events. The level of what you need to do will be based

upon James 4:17. To each individual, God will hold up a standard based upon what they know and the resources they have available. Don’t think you can just walk away from evil and ignore it. This is not what the Bible teaches; it is the stuff of Christian mythology. Ignoring evil and turning

your back will only wreak havoc on other unsuspecting Christians who are not in the know. Yet, I can tell you over 100 members of this congregation did exactly that. They left the church and said nothing of the evil that they knew about. Quite frankly, many of us were taken advantage of by evil for

months and years needlessly, because Christians were programmed with the satanic message “Don’t say anything to anyone, let God take care of it.”

God has given you ears, hands, feet and a mouth. We are supposed to

be His servants. If we are witnesses to crime, we are not to turn our backs. However, this is the nature of the church today at large. Many have been programmed to simply turn their backs. Is it any wonder why evil prospers in the church? Nobody remembers that God instructed us to purge all evil

from our midst. Simply put, do not tolerate apostasy and kick evil people out of the church. But, I guess I already taught you that didn’t I?
