Myth—God Owns Solid Rock
Therefore, don’t worry about subtle shades of color where differences
in opinions should be respected and tolerated. Instead, worry about those teachings that are clearly opposite or disparate to what is written in the Holy Bible. Such teachings are only found in a house of Satan and it does not matter what denomination the church is. Remember, I am not talking about
subtle theological teachings where reasonable people can disagree. I am talking about clear and diametrically opposite or disparate positions. If you are able to eliminate the false teachings, you should do so. Otherwise, get out fast as the souls of you and your family are at stake. You also need to
inform every person in the church that you know so they are not left in a lair of Satan by your unwillingness to share the truth. If you know of evil inside the church and do not share it with others in a public way that exposes it, you are lawless. Indeed, “exposing the evil” is exactly what Apostle Paul teaches us to do. For it is shameful to talk about it in secret.
“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.” Ephesians 5:11-12 NIV
Remember, whoever does what is right is righteous like Jesus Christ. Therefore, it is not what we can mouth out loud about Jesus Christ that will ultimately count. It will be our behavior and whether or not we obeyed the
instructions of God or were lawless in His eyes. Who did Jesus first reject? It was those who were lawless! Who was in the second group rejected? It was those who did not care about the bodily and spiritual needs of others. Both groups of rejected Christians went through life ignoring the needs of
others and thinking that their mouth had provided eternal life; it hadn’t.
I spent four years in Matthews’ ministry at Solid Rock Church. Right from the start, I felt that there were odd things that did not make total sense
to me. These were things in the nature of the color of sky discussion, but on one day everything changed. This pastor started teaching a clearly apostate message that was opposite to what was written in the word of God. It wasn’t just opposite the Word; it was exactly opposite his own four years of pulpit
teachings out of the book of Malachi. As I read my Bible and listened to Matthews repeat his apostate message three times, I again heard from God.
