Worship Of Jesus Has Evolved Into Idolatry!

God’s first commandment is very clear. You should have no other gods before Him. Not all Christians are confused. Some are starting to make the conscious choice to worship the Father as Jesus instructed us to. They have studied Scripture enough with an honest heart for God and have

come to realize that worshipping Jesus is actually committing idolatry with God. Consider a recent Internet discussion.

Question: “If we must choose and one path leads to death while the other

leads to life, shouldn’t we make very sure we choose correctly?”

Carolyn’s Answer: “Oh ABSOLUTELY. I choose YHWH and Him alone.”

Question: “If we esteem someone in YHWH’s place, how is that not idolatry?”

Carolyn’s Answer: “Since investigating Judaism and talking with so many

wonderful Jewish people, my eyes have been opened to how Christianity has replaced the worship of YHWH with the worship of Jesus. So … I have changed how I worship. I love to sing songs of praise and worship to the Lord when I’m alone. I change all the references in the songs from Jesus to

Father” and sing to Him exclusively. I also pray directly to YHWH. When on this earth, Jesus worshipped YHWH and prayed to Him … his disciples did also. So, where and why did Christianity replace YHWH with Jesus? I’ve encountered a LOT of negativity from Christians when I discuss

this with them. They insist Jesus is God and God is Jesus … but I no longer agree. I don’t call myself a Christian anymore either … I don’t know WHAT I am anymore. It’s a scary place to be in, but I’m learning and growing daily … and I LOVE God. I believe that’s what is important.”

Carolyn, the answer of what to call you is clear. You are a real Christian because Jesus has given you an understanding of the Father. That is what a Christian was always supposed to be, someone with a relationship with God the Father as a result of having known His only

begotten Son. Copyright 2005 Edward G. Palmer, All Rights Reserved. Book of Edward—Chapter 10
