Far from supporting a trinity doctrine, Hebrews 1:1-8 actually

reinforces the statement of Jesus in Revelation 3:14 about being the “first of God’s creation.” Jesus as the “firstborn angel” was again brought into the world as the “firstborn of mankind’s spiritual rebirth.” The first time Jesus came to this world was as an angel to help God finish His creation for we

know that all things “were created through Jesus.” The second time Jesus came to this world was as the Son, in the flesh, to help God reconcile mankind’s sinful nature. What will you believe the next time Jesus comes?

Jesus was originally an archangel of God and the very first of God’s creation. When he became a man in the flesh, Jesus literally became God’s only begotten human Son [in the flesh and 100% just like you and I are]. Do you bleed? Jesus bled. Can you die physically? Jesus died physically. Can you become one with God? Yes. So did Jesus.

“There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of

renown.” [Genesis 6:4] This time with Jesus, it was God Almighty doing a work “with a daughter of man” to resolve the sin of mankind. God’s Spirit came to Mary and impregnated her egg with the DNA of Jesus. Is this a difficult task for the God of the universe, to impregnate a virgin without the

benefit of sexual intercourse? Does the creator of our cellular structures have any trouble modifying cells? No! Yes, it was a virgin that gave birth.

Note also that in Hebrews 1:3, it is clear that Jesus sits at the right

hand of the throne of God. Jesus does not sit on the throne because he is not God. Clearly Jesus is the Son and God Almighty is the Father. In Hebrews 1:8, the word “to” should be “of” according to the NRSV, REB, and NAB translations. Therefore, Jesus Christ is telling God Almighty

“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever …”

Some may think that Hebrews 1:8 is God telling Jesus that he [Jesus] is now God, but that requires that you drop your brain off at the front door.

You must interpret Scripture in a way that is consistent with the context of the immediate verses both before and after the verse in question.
