This ends the analysis of Pastor John Hagee’s scriptures supporting the trinity doctrine. Always check lists of scriptures supporting doctrines.

Years ago while traveling I would catch Herbert W. Armstrong9 on

the radio. As he taught Bible lessons, he would also cite Scripture references that he claimed supported his radio teachings. I would write down the citations and later check them. I rarely found any to support the doctrines that I heard. I just thought I had mistaken the citation. Some time

later, I started to read Hal Lindsey and his prophesy books. Hal would make a statement and then cite Scripture to support it. I would read the Scripture and sure enough, it supported exactly what Hal Lindsey taught. Therefore, Hal Lindsey’s writings became my gold standard for teaching Scripture. If a

doctrine is taught and backed by a Scripture, you must be able to read it directly from Scripture. It is easy for people to claim that Scripture supports a doctrine. The true student of the Bible will always check the Scripture citations for themselves. Again, most teachers know people do not check

scriptures so they usually get away with false teachings because of this fact.

Purgatory A middle state of souls, suffering for a time on

account of their sins, is shown by those many texts of Scripture which affirm that God will render to every man according to his works, so that such as die in lesser sins shall not escape without

punishment.
