Indeed, God gave us the sacrifice of His only human Son [begotten

and made just like us] Jesus on the cross. You should understand that God actually went through with the sacrifice that He tested Abraham with. This time, it was the love of the Son for the Father that allowed the sacrifice on the cross to take place. If you understand this, then you will understand that

it is to obedience that we are sanctified to, through the blood of Jesus Christ. Are you obedient to God’s commands or do you rationalize your sin away?

Jesus taught us that the flesh [our human bodies] profits us nothing

and that is one of many reasons he remained obedient to God. Giving up his flesh [life] on the cross, even though painful, was not only what God wanted for Jesus’ life, it was also a point of transition back to God for Jesus. He knew this and chose the Father’s plan. Indeed, all of us will be dead a lot longer than we will be alive. This earthly life is just a speck of dust in all of

eternity. Can you shift your focus towards eternal life like Jesus?

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”

John 6:63

Jesus Sanctifies Us Into Obedience!

I and my Father are one!

Analysis

Perhaps no other verse is as confusing to Christians today than John 10:30. I also suspect that no other verse is used as much to rationalize the trinity doctrine. This verse needs to be dealt with in more depth and here is my analysis. Want to continue misusing this verse or want understanding?
