You might surmise that if you ignored 85.7% of any given subject,

that you are for the most part completely ignoring the subject. For example, would a final grade of 14.3% on any college exam satisfy you? Is it any different with the seven Spirits of God? Can we claim to know God if we do not acknowledge all of His Spirits? Let’s go back to Rev. 1 on page 287 for

a moment and make the following observations about whom we are talking about. From Revelation 1:4-8 we learn the following truths.

Faithful Witness Him who is and who was and is to come Firstborn of the dead Sits on throne

Ruler over kings of earth Seven Spirits before His throne Washed us with his blood Jesus sits by His right hand Makes us kings & priests to God God Almighty His God is the Father on throne Alpha and Omega

I have used the same numbers identified in Revelations 1:4-5 in the above graphic. #1 is God Almighty. #2a-2g are the seven Spirits before God. #3 is Jesus Christ. If you are viewing the graphic in color [web site],

you will observe that Jesus is a different color than the seven Spirits before the throne. As a result of becoming God’s only begotten Son, Jesus is elevated above the angels and has been given God’s seven Spirits.

If you believe in the trinity doctrine, the math does not add up now when it comes to the Spirits. Jesus plus Father plus seven Spirits adds up to the number nine, not three. Jesus plus Father plus Holy Spirit equals three. However, the Spirit of truth is only one of the seven Spirits of God

stated clearly in God’s Word. Consider the following scriptures now.

“John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to

come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne.” Rev. 1:4
