What the Jews failed to understand is that Jesus was not saying he was God Almighty. That was a human hang up over the issue of what is divine. Or who is God? The issue still exists today. Instead, Jesus was saying that

the Father was in him and he was in the Father. This spiritual oneness exists for all who will choose to serve God. The Jews objected to Jesus using words they equated with being divine.

However, as the Psalmist indicates, those who are children of the

Most High are all called gods by God Almighty. In the human sense of the word, it also means that they are all divine [a god]. However, this does not make them God Almighty. It just makes them of a nature like God.

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of me.” John 15:26

Commentary: Again, the Spirit of truth proceeds from the Father. This is simply another Bible verse in which the words Father, Spirit and

Jesus are associated. From the Father are the operative words in the above verse. There is no support for the trinity doctrine of orthodox Christianity.

“However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will

guide you into all truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak; and he will tell you things to come. He will glorify me, for he will take of what is mine and declare it to you. All things that the

Father has are mine. Therefore I said that he will take of mine and declare it to you.” John 16:13-15
