Jesus Christ Obeys God, Do You?

Apostle John quotes Jesus saying, “I know [God] and obey [God].” These words of Jesus are the next aspect of the trinity conundrum you have to deal with. Jesus indicates he is subservient to God Almighty. However, the trinity doctrine espouses a three-part co-equal godhead comprised of the

Son, the Father and the Spirit. The essence of God Almighty being equal and identical in each part of the different parts of the godhead. Three parts all co-equals with each other in every respect.

If the trinity doctrine were true, then Jesus would be equal to the Father in all respects. It would also make Jesus a liar again when he tells us that he is obedient to the Father. And what about stuff that Jesus does not know? Remember that Jesus states in Matthew 24:36 that, “only my

Father knows?” Three parts, co-equal, each knowing what the other knows does not describe the Jesus of the Holy Bible since Jesus did not know what the Father knew.

People use water to explain this three-part godhead. Is God analogous to water in a solid (ice), liquid (water), and vaporous (steam) state (3 in 1)? Graphics have also been used by Christians, over the last two millennial, to symbolize and explain the trinity. I.E. — The trinity symbol below is used

on the letterhead of the Trinity Episcopal Church in West Virginia.1
