Chapter 10: The False Trinity Doctrine

Mankind Created The Trinity Doctrine!

Indeed, as Pastor John Hagee points out in his analysis on page 1429 of his Prophecy Study Bible7, the trinity doctrine was “created” because the Father, Son and Spirit are all associated within several verses. Yet, can we ignore the clear teachings of those verses in favor of a fantasy doctrine that

holds no merit whatsoever? Look at some of the principal teachings of these trinity support verses as shown in the table above.

In fact, most of these reference verses speak directly against the trinity

doctrine; they do not support the doctrine. The closest support you can muster for the trinity doctrine from these verses is Hebrews 1:8. However, in order to support the trinity doctrine with this verse, you have to take the verse out of its context and ignore other Scripture. The notes I have

provided in the above table can be summarized as follows.

Reality of Trinity Citations Quantity

Single Entity in Verse 1 Two Entities in Verse 14

Three Entities in Verse 9 Implied Trinity Support 1

If you analyze the verses based on the amount of entities discussed in the verses, there are only 36% that even have all three entities. Most of the verses simply speak of the duality of God and His Son. If it was Tertulian of the third or fourth century that postulated this doctrine, clearly he did not

possess the biblical text and resources that now exist.8 One commentary indicates Tertulian may only have only possessed a few books of the Bible.

When a myth is perpetuated long enough, it takes on a life of its own.

Today, many Christians accept the trinity doctrine as truth. However, it is clear that Scripture does not support the doctrine. The trinity myth is only supported by man’s tradition. Mankind has transgressed the commandments of God by its tradition again. This time it is not the Jews; it is the Christians.
