Wouldn’t it be a simple thing for God to commit suicide? Yes it

would. However, for God Almighty to behave in that way is nothing more than God duping mankind. It would be virtually nothing for God to commit suicide if that is what he wanted. If he did, does that really inspire you? Why? Is it some big thing for the God of creation to do suicide and then go

back upstairs after He repairs Himself? The whole idea is both laughable and sad at the same time. Yet that is the state of Christian belief today.

Now think about this for a moment. God’s only begotten Son Jesus

falls down on his face in tears and asks of God [the One God] — “O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” Matthew 26:39

Jesus never wanted to go to that cross. Yet, his heart was with God

and in obedience he went and took the cross so that mankind would have a better shot at eternal life. When you believe in Jesus, the cross takes on real meaning as Jesus did die for the sins of the world. God resurrected Jesus. He did not resurrect himself.

In one illustration, God commits suicide. Ho hum. No big thing for God Almighty, is it? In the second illustration an obedient Son, who God ALMIGHTY MADE JUST LIKE THE REST OF US, gives up his own life for us in

a HUMAN SACRIFICE on the cross. If God sacrificed Himself, how does that teach us that we too as a human male or female can also be obedient to His commands, even unto death? However, Jesus as a human sacrifice carries special meaning. Indeed the body and blood of Jesus are to be remembered.

God’s Human Son Jesus Was Sacrificed!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten

Son, that whoever believes in him [Jesus] should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

It is only when you realize that the trinity doctrine is false that you can appreciate the full depth of God’s love for us.
