Myth—Abortion Doesn’t Matter

We know that a 4-week old embryo has its own blood circulation. Do

not the souls of aborted embryos and fetuses scream out from the ground to God? If the blood of Cain screamed out to God, surely the blood of millions of innocent fetuses will. Christian, your brother and sister’s blood is crying out to God from the ground. Can you hear? If not, why? I can hear them!

I don’t believe there is one scientist who will stand before God and proclaim that a human embryo is not innocent blood in His eyes. Even at the stage of conception in a petri dish in a science lab, life belongs to Him.

And who will be held accountable to God for the shed innocent blood of those human embryos and the estimated 40 million+ aborted babies since 1973? I believe that every single human that supports abortion will be held accountable to God. Woe to everyone who fails to reprove such evil.

The text I referred to was the Hebrew version of Genesis (what we call “B’reshith” in the Hebrew) 9:6. This passage is the object of the oldest gloss on a scriptural text that we have from Rabbinic Judaism.

The Rabbis read the Hebrew as -- shefech dam ha’adam b’adam damu y’shafecha key b’etzelem elohim asah et-hadam – “He who sheds the blood of the human who is in the human, by a human shall his blood be shed.”
