Myth—Abortion Doesn’t Matter
baby in the womb with life and survival until he is born. It is the mother’s charge from God to protect that baby inside her womb from any harm. It is
the mother and father’s charge from God to then protect that baby after he or she is born and for as long as that child needs nurturing and care.
In the early 1970’s when the abortion debate raged, I supported the
idea of a woman’s right to choose. I was wrong. It wasn’t the first time and it won’t be the last. It wasn’t until 1978-79 after I read the Bible that I realized just how wrong I was. You too can change your position when you realize God’s perspective. That is why I changed. I came to know Him.
The doctor in the Eclipse of Reason stopped performing abortions because of what the ultrasound images disclosed to him. He could literally watch the baby take evasive action in the womb attempting to avoid being killed by his instruments. This doctor witnessed and documented that there
was human intelligence observable in the baby and at work in the womb.
Contrary to popular mythology, life does exist in the womb. This doctor states that ultrasound images document that a first, second or third
trimester abortion is no different than infanticide. It is just murder at a different stage of the baby’s development.
The idea that a baby is not a viable human being until it leaves the
womb is just another specious argument. If a mother does what God charges her to do and protects her baby in the womb, the baby can become a viable human being. It won’t occur at birth neither just because it breathes air. At what point could you just walk away from any child and expect it to live by
taking care of itself? One year? Two years? Three years? Get real. The idea that a baby has to first emerge to become “viable” is just another evil argument. As our level of technology continues to expand, life will be pushed back to the very point of conception. That is when human life truly
begins.
The simple proof of the fact that human life begins at conception is the fact that a fertilized egg [zygote] can be transplanted and placed into any
woman’s womb that will protect her baby. That “womb” protected baby will then come to full term barring any complications in the pregnancy.
