Myth—Abortion Doesn’t Matter

Neonatologists specialize in keeping babies alive. The technologies

they use have pushed the survivability of babies delivered prematurely down to a weight of only 1-2 pounds. Consider the wonder of the Internet picture 15 shown below. If you walked away from a 1-2 pound baby, it would die within a few hours. However, neonatology can help these babies to survive.

It is well known now that a baby prematurely born at 5 months can live. Had the 5-month gestated boy aborted in the documentary Eclipse of Reason been born prematurely instead, he would be alive today. That is something every woman should consider carefully. After all, it’s now her choice?

Taking care of the fetus has advanced to the point where surgery on the fetus can take place inside the mother’s womb. In the picture 16 on the next page, baby Samuel is undergoing spina bifida surgery at 23 weeks of gestation. In a very emotional picture of human life in the womb, the baby

is shown holding the surgeon’s finger. You don’t think that there is a human baby with intelligence in the womb? Get educated and if you call yourself a Christian, get right with God on human life. Every baby inside a womb is God’s creation in spite of whose female egg or male sperm may be involved.

That is what God’s Word teaches us.
