Myth—Abortion Doesn’t Matter

Doctor Bernard Nathanson who produced Eclipse of Reason estimates that in 1993 over 400 late term abortions were performed daily. No doubt a

much larger number exists in 2004. He stated, at the time, that women have experienced 7,500 serious complications from abortions each year. In some of the abortion complications, a dilation and curettage (D&C) procedure is needed. The procedure can cause damage to the lining of the uterus. Jackie

suffered from the consequences of a D&C procedure after the last natural miscarriage she suffered circa 1966. According to her doctor in San Diego, California, the D&C had perforated her uterus. Had she gone to the wrong doctor, we were told she would have been unable to have any children.

Only by the grace of God did we then have children. Thank you Lord!

In the video, Doctor Nathanson showed the instruments he used in performing routine abortions and then described how a baby boy 5-months old is systematically torn apart limb by limb. After the baby is torn apart

and removed from the uterus, it is reassembled on a nearby table to ensure that all of the baby’s body parts have been successfully removed. At that point, a D&C may be needed to further scrape and clean the woman’s uterus.

Week 2 — The fertilized egg implants itself onto the wall of the uterus and the embryo is about 1/100th of an inch at this time 10. Note: Week

Week 4 — The embryo is about 1/6 inch long and has developed a

head and a trunk. Structures that will become arms and legs, called limb buds, begin to appear. Blood is beginning to be pumped through fetal circulation. Heartbeat is visible by ultrasound.
