Myth—Abortion Doesn’t Matter

The Heart vs. The Intellect!

This chapter might be an emotional one for many people. I am not an exception. Therefore, forgive me in advance if I present you with something that gets you emotionally upset. Above all, I want you to hang in there with me so you can truly understand God’s view of the abortion issue. Before I

get too far, we need to revisit the heart and the intellect. You know, the mind vs. what is in the bowels of your spirit-soul, which I talked of earlier?

If you are just tuning into the book by reading this chapter, you will

miss important material that is relevant to your full understanding of the abortion issue. The first nine chapters are especially critical to a reasonable and full understanding of this chapter. God has given this material to me in a specific sequence. Much of the material preceding each chapter is actually

precedential in nature. Therefore, go back and at least read the first nine chapters [if not all chapters] before going on if you have not already done so. It would be best if you do read this book sequentially from front to back. Only then will you get all of what God wants you to experience.

I don’t think there is a better illustration of the difference between the heart and the intellect than the subject of abortion. As I have read many writings on the subject, they all either fall within the side of the heart or the

side of the intellect. The heart sees the true meanings of the word of God. On the other hand, the intellect analyzes and parses sentences and even seeks to read into different Bible verses spiritual facts that are non-existent.

Remember back in chapter 2 on page 24 when I asked the important question of you: “Are they [the apostles] writing mail to you?” The Bible is written directly to those with a heart for God and you will not understand Scripture if your heart is not fully with God. He gives understanding to the

heart so that you can properly understand the nuances of Scripture. Don’t tell me that the Bible can be properly interpreted with just your intellect. It can’t and I won’t buy such an assertion. I have been talking with God for almost three decades on the issue and I know better. The big question now is whether or not you are reading someone else’s mail? Are you?
