Myth—Abortion Doesn’t Matter

Joseph had a lot of time to think about what his brothers had done to him by selling him into Egyptian slavery. He was also in a position to

execute vengeance against his brothers if he wanted to. Yet, Joseph knew that God had called him to walk the path he was on, even if that path brought times of grief and suffering. Joseph chose to take his hits for God’s sake and to keep moving closer to the Lord. It doesn’t matter if you can understand

what is happening to you when bad things happen; it only matters if you keep your faith in God. In the end, your trust in God will eventually unfold into your reward as God Himself chooses for you the life He wants you to lead. Joseph said: “Do not be distressed … for God sent me [on this path].”

“Then Joseph said to his brothers, ‘Come closer to me.’ And they came closer. He said, ‘I am your brother, Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt. And now do not be distressed, or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here; for

God sent me before you to preserve life.’ ” Genesis 45:4-5 NRSV

Our part of the equation is to obey God and do what He tells us to do.

Even if that causes earthly consequences for us. I did that much. Now, time will tell the rest of the story of the fraud that took place at Solid Rock Church in Elk River, Minnesota. The final outcome is in God’s hands.

No one in society should rejoice when a judge ignores the truth and allows injustice to become manifest. The experience God took me through relates to these writings and even to this chapter. If I take a hit for His righteousness’ sake, so be it; “THY will be done O Lord!” Let Your will

reign in my life. One clear message for you is this: “Do what God asks you to do, even if you do not understand why on this good earth He would ask that of you.” It’s because He is not asking of you purely earthly things!

If you are knowledgeable in His Word; and, If you are tuned into His Spirit; and, If you are focused on His heavenly goal —

Only then, can you do what God will ask of you. Because only then will you know that your earthly life is just a small part of His bigger picture.
