The moral decay in society is epitomized by the Democrats’ actions in

the Senate during impeachment. The institution charged with protecting our long-term constitutional interests now found that their own party interests were more important than national morality. In the end analysis, this was a complete moral failure on the part of the Democratic Party. When Clinton

lied to the face of the nation’s people and then to the Federal Court, why should the people have any faith in him? Furthermore, when the main effort of his party in the Senate was to cover up and obscure those lies, why should the people have any faith in the Democratic Party?

When Democratic Senators voted nay on Impeachment, they told the Nation that it is okay for the President and other politicians to lie. They tried to cover their decision under the guise of a personal moral failure, but that does not excuse the direct lies to the people of this country, to Clinton’s own

staff and to the Federal Court. Clinton should have resigned. For lack of that, Democrats should have forced him to step down for the good of the Nation. Our country cannot tolerate such lies in government. That is why Clinton falls behind Nixon in the rank of U.S. Presidents. At least Nixon

had the decency to resign. Now what? Should a nation trust a political party that is documented to support the lies of its leaders? No, it shouldn’t.

During the 2004 Presidential Campaign, Kerry repeatedly told the lies

that the U.S. “had gone it alone” in Iraq and that “we didn’t use diplomacy.” Part of the reason this didn’t stick with the American people is that they were both lies. The U.S. had worked with the United Nations for 12 years and 17 resolutions and nothing had been resolved with Iraq. That is hardly

rushing to the use of force and bypassing diplomacy. The many countries and thousands of soldiers helping our nation in Iraq also belie the claim that we “had gone it alone.” In fact, every time Kerry opened his mouth and repeated these lies, he insulted my intelligence and no doubt the intelligence

of millions of other Americans. Words carry meanings and people have a right to hold politicians to the precise meaning of their words.

The Democratic Party playbook involves repeatedly dispensing lies.

Repeat a lie long enough and people will believe it. That was the tactic of Hitler’s public relations expert. In 2004, it was a tactic of the Democrats.
