John F. Kennedy got us into Vietnam. As 1962 began to unfold, we

see that U.S. Army units are added to Vietnam; Cuban imports are banned; and, John Glenn is the first American to orbit the earth. In April, we read “Charismatic Kennedy at popularity peak.” Two months later, the Supreme Court in an exercise of raw judicial “legislative” power bans school prayer.

Where was Kennedy’s concern? The Democratic Platform of 1960 referred to “God’s earth!” What had occurred in society was simply the “granting” of special rights to individuals [atheists] under the guise of a Jeffersonian “Rights of Man” doctrine. Wouldn’t Jefferson be surprised? The “Rights”

he believed in were clearly stated in the Declaration of Independence as the “Unalienable Rights endowed by our CREATOR!” Eliminate God? Hello!
