As I get closer to the end of this book, I am stunned by just how much

is written in the Bible about what seems to be going on today in the United States. At times, it feels like I am actually living in biblical times. Just look around you and consider what is happening. Then carefully read God’s Word, where you will find society’s actions and God’s reaction. It is very

astonishing. I believe we are repeating every sin that Israel did as a nation and it will lead to one of two outcomes. Either we will repent and return to God’s morality or He will abandon us. This is evidenced by how the United States is nearly evenly split 50/50 on moral values. In the spiritual sense, I

feel that God has us in the crosshairs of His wrath wondering what will be our “political choices.” Can we return to being a moral society?

Will there be a payback for the immoral people of this earth? Yes, there will. And you can see by the verses above that purity of our hearts will

matter. Only if we have a heart that is pure towards God can we understand why the items shown above as being morally wrong are wrong and the items shown above as being morally right are right in God’s eyes. Today I am puzzled why so many Christians who claim Jesus as their savior would vote

to support immoral policies in government. It’s not only here; Canada is far ahead of us. Yet, those who are really with God are like-minded people, just like Christ was like-minded with God. They have the unity of His Spirit and a common understanding of all moral value issues. Like-mindedness and

purity are precursors for the unity of the body. These are not just a spiritual force they are also a political force. Politics does matter to God.

Unity Means Pure Hearts And Like-Mindedness!

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Romans 12:2

“Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.” Romans 12:16
