Verily I say unto you that no “real” Christian has any duty to obey an

immoral government that sanctions abortions, Gay marriages and other forms of evil that are explicitly identified in the Holy Bible as abominations unto God. Instead, such people have the same moral duty that our Founders had. They are required to fight such evil and immorality with all the vigor

that they have. Many Christians now find themselves in an immoral society much like Lot did in Sodom. Yet, this cannot stand for very long.

Politics Has Become The Art Of Lying!

Politics has become the “art of lying” and the number of examples is great. When Nixon lost to Kennedy it is commonly believed that Illinois and Texas were stolen at the ballot box. If so, these were lies from pubic officials. Nixon decided to forgo a recount believing “it would be bad for

the nation.” Then, when Nixon became president, he engaged in a variety of activities including lying. When his lies and complicity in the Watergate break-ins were confronted with impeachment, Nixon resigned believing “it would be bad for the nation to go through an impeachment trial.”

Therefore, while Nixon may have been a victim of lies and himself engaging in lies to the nation, he ultimately thought of the greater good of our country. This was not the case when Clinton was confronted with

impeachment for lying to a Federal Court. Here, the nation’s highest official charged with enforcing our laws had lied to the nation and the court. Instead of stepping down and thinking of the greater good of our country, Clinton and the Democrats fought to maintain their power. Had Clinton resigned

like Nixon, Gore would have become president. It is highly likely that Gore would have then be reelected instead of George W. Bush being elected president. Therefore, it is irony that Clinton’s selfish ambitions fed back onto his Democratic Party and in effect helped to destroy its majority.

There is no greater example of the lies of politicians than the issue of Clinton’s Impeachment. When it came to vote, the Democrats voted as a block in the Senate — Nay! John Adams pointed out that the most cherished knowledge our people could obtain would be the details of the

character and conduct of our national rulers. Was lying institutionalized?
