Commingling Values Corrupts Moral Unity!

When one thinks of commingling in business, it means the mixing of funds from private and business accounts. The use here refers to the mixing of our cultures. Our nation was safe for 200 years as we enforced the idea of the “melting pot.” Immigrants were required to learn the English language

and “melt” into our society. We did not teach public education in Spanish or any other language. The Democrats’ push for multiculturalism is also part of our nation’s moral decay. Instead of “melting” into our Christian values and heritage, pagan values and foreign languages have been commingled.

You can now travel to some parts of the United States and you will not be able to understand the local language because they do not speak English.

Multiculturalism is just another good sounding Democratic policy that

has had destructive effects on the morals of our nation. Instead of enforcing a common set of American values, Democratic policies have caused factions within our nation in the guise of heritage. There has never been a problem maintaining an immigrant population’s heritage. Just ask the Italian and

Irish immigrants you find in New Jersey and New York. Yet you won’t find those populations behaving as if they were still in Italy or Ireland. They came for the American dream realizing that they would have to melt in and learn our culture to be successful. The biggest failure of multiculturalism is

the failure to teach that immigrants can’t be successful if they don’t melt in. That is the reality of immigrating to the United States. Like it or not, the de facto language is English and one’s ability to use it is critical to success in America. Every immigrant should be taught that fact, in English of course.

Today we are a nation of immigrants. To be an American means you are someone who has accepted the nation’s mores and has melted in. My grandparents on my mother’s side were full-blooded Germans and on my

father’s side French Canadians. I am a product of the their mixture. My wife had English and Norwegian backgrounds and our children are a product of an even greater mixture. Yet, never in my life have any of my or my wife’s ancestors thought of them self as anything but American. They were proud to “melt” in and adopt the mores of a godly nation. There are many

warnings from God not to adopt the cultures of ungodly people.
