“For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear

that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it. For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you. Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the

Lord’s Supper. For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk.” 1 Cor. 11:18-21

Even in the holy sacrament of communion, Paul makes it clear that people engaged in self-serving behavior, which did not consider that their group’s [or nation’s] larger interests should rise above their own personal interests. Today, it is the same among many who call themselves Christian. They argue against God’s morals for their own personal immoral interests.

“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to

each one a measure of faith.” Romans 12:3

A Nation Must Be United Spiritually!

Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.” Matthew 12:25
