Promote Practice Of True Religion & Virtue!

The first President of the United States makes it clear that we as a nation [and other nations] are “to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue.” Why the first Amendment? It is there to prevent the government from establishing its own “official” religion. That is what

had happened in England; the government took away religious freedom. However, it’s a long way from “establishing a religion of the government” and “taking God out of our public institutions.” Everyone that is ignorant of U.S. History is politically complicit in the debasing of our society and will

have a price to pay with God. Woe to those who try to alter U.S. history and remove God. Woe to the ungodly activist judges. He will repay both!

U.S. History is a Testimonial of “People of Faith,”

“Biblical Morality,” and “God’s Providential Handiwork!”

There are many other references to God and lessons in Washington’s first Thanksgiving Day Proclamation. However, the main point from all of

this history is that we have a political duty to God to be a moral people first. From that moral foundation, God will indeed protect us. I know that many people will not believe what I have just said, but that is the teaching of the Holy Bible. God will protect and prosper His people when they adhere to

His commandments and walk in His instructions. God will also forgive a repentant nation that turns its back on evil and returns to Him.

“If My people who are called by My name will humble

themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chron. 7:14

Have we gone too far? Maybe. But God makes it clear that the United States can return to Him if it has the political will to set its house in moral order. In contrast, when a nation is immoral, God will curse that nation with His fury. From this perspective, I ask the question: “Are we now being cursed by God for killing 40+ million innocent babies?”
