Myth—God Heals Everyone
Jesus Said; “Always Pray & Do Not Lose Heart!”
“Then [Jesus] spoke a parable to them, that men [and women] always ought to pray and not lose heart.” Luke 18:1
Your spiritual understanding should include the entire word of God and not just narrow sections of the Bible. God’s context is the entire Word. That is why the healing of Jesus talked about in Matthew 9:35 is not applicable to Nazareth. Did not God teach us something else about that
particular “hometown?” The miracles of Jesus were done at the direction of Yahweh. Therefore, pray to Yahweh your God just like Jesus did. Realize like Jesus did that not all prayers are answered, as we want them to be.
“When things go well, be glad; but when they go ill, consider this: God has set the one alongside the other in such a way that no one can find out what is to happen afterwards [next].” Ecclesiastes 7:14 REB
Spiritual translation: You never know what life will bring next!
I believe I have talked about this before; Jesus did not want to leave
us. He did not want to die on that cross and his prayer to God reflected that clear thought in his mind. His willingness to do so was a result of his love for Yahweh [his Father and God]. Listen again to a prayer from Jesus that was not answered the way he wanted. If God did not answer all of Jesus’
prayers in the manner he wanted, why should you be surprised if some of your prayers are not answered in the way you want them to be answered?
Jesus said: “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You.
Take this cup away from me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.” Mark 14:36
Are you willing to yield to God’s will just like Jesus Christ did? If not, why? Are you not supposed to follow the example of Christ?
