Myth—God Heals Everyone

As shown in the preceding graph, your peace in this earthly journey

will be in direct proportion to your confidence in God. High confidence in God brings you perfect peace. Low confidence in God will bring anxiety and uncertainty. And no matter where you think you are at with your spirit and mind, the body you possess may have some different thoughts. I wish I

could tell you that I always operate as I do this time where I have a perfect peace knowing that God is in control; I can’t. At times, I too suffer. The difference for me, however, is I know that to the degree I do suffer a lack of peace, it is only because I am not in His presence. When I become aware of

a lack of peace in my life that is when I get back into prayer and worship. It is my spiritual cue that I am “in the world” and not “in His peace.” It is a time to mentally refocus on God and get out of myself or out of this world.

If life is getting you down, maybe its because you are too focused on

yourself or the things of this world. Pick up a Holy Bible and start to read. Shift your thoughts towards God. If you do not know where to start in the Bible, start at Psalm 34. When you are hurting and in trouble, this Psalm is good place to meditate on. Listen to a part of this Psalm of David.

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite

spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him [or her] out of them all.” Psalm 34:17-19

My friend Norman taught me that problems constitute a sign of life.

When confronted by a member of his congregation that complained of his many problems, Norman asked him if he would like to move to a place where 100,000 people lived and not a single one of them had a problem. The man answered yes, he would like that. Norman replied: “Okay, but its

Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx and everyone is dead.” Norman went on to conclude that it was then logical that problems constituted a sign of life. I can add that if you choose to walk with God in His light and righteousness that “many will be your afflictions.” That is what God teaches us. Why? It

is simple. Satan doesn’t care if you are “into yourself” or “into this world.” He only cares about those who are “into righteousness” and belong to God.
